Owned by our family for three generations, Finekettle House was originally built in 1968, set on expansive grounds with 600 feet of water frontage in a private cove. Since then it has been our family’s gathering place on Smith Mountain Lake, and we know how special a lake vacation here can be. With that in mind, and three generations of fun at the lake to guide us, we set out to share our home as a vacation rental that really feels like home, complete with fluffy bath towels and beach towels, a kitchen stocked for cooking and baking, 3 kayaks for guest use, and many other extras all accompanied by exquisite views and exceptional privacy. We welcome up to two dogs (no other pets) per reservation on a case by case basis.
